I purchased my in-home massage from Total Awareness Massage Therapy via one of the Big Deal of the Day offerings. Ramona just left moments ago and I wanted to immediately report on what a wonderful experience it was. As others have noted she showed up a few minutes early in order to allow her to set up and begin promptly at our appointed time. I have had many massages over the years (although this was my first time having someone come to my home) and as such I generally know a good and experienced therapist -- and Ramona most definitely is exactly that. Additionally I have been having some pain in my lower back that my general practitioner has yet to be able to effectively diagnose. Ramona was so helpful to me in helping pinpoint and verbalize exactly what I'm feeling and where so that I feel I can now better communicate this to my health care provider(s). And she intuitively worked on each of the areas that to me would have been seemingly unrelated. And yet of course in considering it from her holistic and experience approach it is all interrelated. Now not only do I feel worlds better than I have in weeks, but that I can more effectively get to the root of the problem going forward. Also i wanted to note that, despite finding numerous and unanticipated knots, she was patient and diligent in working on each one. Ultimately I received much more than the full hour and when I beseeched her to please let me compensate her for the extra time she refused...although I hopefully made up for at least a portion of her time with a generous tip that I insisted she please permit.I can't recommend her highly enough and will certainly call upon her again.

I purchase a Angies List Deal from Total Body Awareness Massage for a one hour massage. I am on my feet alot and carry a lot of stress in my back and loved the idea of having someone come to my home.

It went great! Ramona arrived early (around 30 minutes) but didn't come knock on the door until 15 minutes before our appointment time. I love that she was early!! I had crated my dogs who were in my room crying, and she almost insisted I let them out, so I did. They instantly had a new friend. She had me fill out a form while she was setting up her table and asked me what scent I would like. I chose the lavender, which was really relaxing! The massage was really good. I have a bit of bad posture as I am always cooking and on my feet, which has caused a lot of really tight muscles in my upper back and shoulders. She worked out a lot of those "kinks" firmly, but not to the point of hurting me and it was awesome. Usually when I get a massage I tell the therapist that they CAN"T hurt me, but I decided to just let her do her thing, which was the right move. I am pretty sure she went longer than an hour, and I feel great right now. I felt we really connected, and that she listened to me and did exactly what I needed for my stress areas! I look forward to getting on a regular schedule of massages from Ramona!! Having her come to my home was so nice and put a really good massage on top of that, it's pretty much a no brainer as to where I will get my massages from in the future!!

In looking for a unique way to spend Valentine's Day, my husband hired Ramona to do a massage in the privacy of our home. He saw her advertisement on Angie's List and I schedule an appointment within a few days. Ramona arrived at least forty five( 45) minutes ahead of schedule but did not come in until 15 minutes before our appointment. We were impressed with her timeliness and professionalism. She asked us where did we want her to set up and preceeded to explain the process while handing us a one-page questionnaire to complete. She also asked if there were any health concerns, gave us the option of choosing the fragrance we preferred, popped in a relaxing CD and preceeded with the massage. The massage table was warm and comfortable. Within minutes the rubbing stimulated circulation and lossen up our muscles and joints. Needless-to-say, she did not diappoint and we would highly recommend her services.
