About Me

In April 1986, I joined the United States Army and actively served as a Personnel Management Specialist until April 1994, upon which I was Honorably Discharged. I left the military and persued an interest in bodybuilding and aggressively trained myself for many years. With much success, the gym in which I trained encouraged me to become one of their personal trainers. Accepting the offer, I became certified through the National Association of Sports Medicine (NASM). I enjoyed that profession so much that I decided to venture off into the medical world and joined a group of Physical Therapists and Occupational Therapists and began working as a Lead Physical Therapy Aide/Floor Manager for a rehabilitation facility. Determined to do my part for society, I enrolled in TESST College and studied to become a Certified Massage Therapist. Graduating with honors, I became nationally certified through the National Certification of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCTMB) and Maryland State Licensed.  Soon thereafter, I began my massage practice and studied extensively to specialize in neck and back pain which causes developmental disorders as a result of bad posture and/or ergonomically incorrect work stations.

It is important to remember that massage therapy is an ancient service that has been around and practiced by our elders for many years.  I truly believe that massage therapy is an excellent way to maintain positive health.  It compliments every other health program and should not be considered a luxury, but a way of life.  We must always be mindful that our bodies are our temples and that we must do everything possible to stay healthy, happy and positive which will enable us to live a long, productive and fruitful life.
